I’ve worked on computers since the 386 model days, time travels fast and we ended up in the internet age. I went to school to become a multimedia programmer and ended up doing Geology out in the north slopes of Alaska. I travel back and forward from NYC to Anchorage Alaska.
It’s a interesting life but my heart and soul is in designing and development. I enjoy guiding people to fulfill their website internet needs by telling them facts. What kind of facts you might be wondering?
I see a lot of misinformation or just flat out lie tactic to fool new business owners that are trying to get their business online. I get many calls regarding what they should do seriously. My first advise consultant calls are free by the way.
Let me just lay down the foundation like this If you’re a new serious business owner or are just ready to stop playing games read below.
What I’m offering is mainly for business owners who are starting out and want to get their business online across all platforms. Today market everyone to even the family dog has a website. Most clients take business owners with a website a lot more serious and also it helps the business owner get his or her message across to their clients. Keep in mind that 2.4 billion people use the internet everyday and some 90% of those have purchased something, or contacted a company, online in the last 12 months. So by not having a website, you will be missing out on a big piece of the pie.
Some of the problems start with pricing mainly, large over the top web companies charge 10k up to 30k for a website of 5 pages or less or for a simple blog, with some draw backs. Either you won’t get the source code or you won’t be able to manage your website without their supervision. Every time you seek their help you’re going to get a bill, you ask them for a small banner you’re going to get a bill; you ask them for a text size error you’re going to get a bill. Fun isn’t it? The interesting part is that some of these problems are created by your so call large web companies, you want to know why? So you’ll keep coming back to them with more problems. More problems, more money slips out of your bank account into their pockets. Wonderful isn’t it?
Other times you want to go ultra cheap and you’re willing to deal with shady oversea developers who first don’t speak English at all, plus they’re not in the United States and you’ll have to deal with 3rd party banks or other odd ways to get them their money or else they’ll bother you to the ends of the earth. Normally in this case you are either going to get screw over by getting a worthless website that doesn’t work or they lie to you by telling you they need all the money upfront and you won’t hear from them ever again. Do you think you’ll get some of your money back? You might or you might not depending on the case and depending on the online sourcing company you’re using to get these so call cheap websites. Most of the time they won’t even track these people at all and all they need to do is spoof another IP address and make a new account and they’re at it again for their next victim. Awesome right?
There has to be a balance, and that balance is something I will show you.
What I’m offering is my knowledge and trust. I’m here to change the playing field and I want the make the internet great again.
Finally I want to make your website awesome!
